About the event
Philadelphia trumpet player Daud El Bakara learned his craft early on the streets of Philadelphia, channeling classic influences such as Lee Morgan and Donald Byrd.
Getting his start at the Philladelphia Clef club of Jazz and performing arts and Temple University, Daud recently returned to school, finishing his degree after 20 years.
He now works as a buisness owner, educator and performer. Drawing from his life experience to lead as an example of hard work perserverance and excellence, all personified in his hard hitting, distinguished sound.
